Reclaimed Wood

These pieces were the originators of the whiskey cask genre. After working in art galleries for numerous years and hearing countless clients state that the painting that they loved, but couldn't collect, was the wrong size or shape or there were some form of imperfections. This was my response. Celebrating the imperfect, the 'damaged' and the unlimited possibilities of space.

This collection has been on the back burner for now. The story is dormant but not over. I have revisited this on the odd occasion for commissions and would happily continue this journey whenever the opportunity arises.
